Born in the year 1927, Sri.Yohannan Thomas was a great visionary who formulated his own business ideas to disburse small loans to the needy people in and around Elanthoor,Pathanamthitta. In those days there weren’t many Banks that would promote lending to the needy people. At this setting, the farsighted entrepreneurial spirit in Sri.Yohannan Thomas could accomplish a lot of financial requirements of many people who were in need of funds for small purposes.

In the year 1967, he established THAZHAYIL FINANCE with its registered office at Elanthoor, Pathanamthitta.The company slowly started to carry out GOLD loan Business on a very humble manner in Pathanamthitta District.And to this day, the THAZHAYIL continues to be strongly identified in southern districts of Kerala beyond Pathanamthitta, where it functioned for long as a single branch business. Over the years, Shri Sri.Yohannan Thomas managed the business in a very conventional way, yet, it emerged as highly successful and greatly trusted name with unfathomable roots in the local community. He was known his for integrity, and thus THAZHAYIL came to be known as a trusted name in the whole district of Pathanamthitta offering higher returns along with assured safety.
